Read with caution: if you’re a party host, bride, event planner, and/or design lover, today’s post is sure to inspire instant obsession.  Austin-based designer Trina Bentley’s new line of letterpressed invitations, The Pattern Press, is full of the modern, feminine-but-not-too-girly invitations that I’m always searching for.  I immediately fell in love with the ones she designed for my recent wedding, and the rest of her luxe collection is completely swoon-inducing.  Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Owens invitation: the square card and justified typeface give such a modern look.

Audley invitation: The cursive-y font provides a playful twist.

The Pattern Press’ design philosophy states: “We strive to create more than invitations. We aspire to build an entire visual style for your wedding (a brand if you will); starting with a logo and translating the ‘look’ into a number of printed items. We combine logo, typography, patterning, and color into one cohesive and beautiful package.” Such an amazing way to turn a wedding or an event into an extraordinary experience!

Grey invitation: love the clean black & white palette with an unexpected pop of vibrant green.

Pierce invitation: the front feels stylishly old-school, while the back has a bit of a Marrakech vibe.

Simmons invitation: super similar to the invites Trina designed for my wedding, I’m partial to the elegant simplicity of these.
