I literally shrieked with delight this morning when I laid eyes on the brilliant new fall campaign for Kate Spade’s inaugural apparel collection. Bold color combos and graphic prints create a preppy-meets-edgy aesthetic that’s pure Kate. From WWD: “Sixties-era silhouettes imbued with whimsy. Classic, with references to Paris and London… complete with rounded hats that resembled a British bobby’s.” A few of my favorite looks:
She went treasure hunting after brunch.
She looks for adventure at every corner.
Leaving work early to see the Avedon show.
On a lark, she chose Dim Sum after dark.
Best guest, bar none.
