Inspiration is everywhere, and when I stumbled onto this dreamy sun-drenched bedroom in Elle Decor, I saw visions of a beach-inspired soiree: rustic romance in shades of sand.

Table & Dinnerware

Even landlocked parties have a beachy-chic vibe when natural elements are used on the table.  Modern white dishes contrast nicely with rustic details like rattan chargers, wicker chairs, & relaxed floral centerpieces.

White Appetizers & Rosewater Madeleines from Martha Stewart Weddings

Carry the color scheme to the food by offering an assortment of all-white crudites & cheeses.  Rosewater Madeleines mimic shells when encrusted with sugary “sand.”

Dress & SuitWhat to wear to such a fete? Neutral shades in summery fabrics set a relaxed tone… kick off your sandals & soak up some sunshine.

Salt Cellar & Coral CenterpieceA pretty place setting echoes the sea: shells hold salt & pepper, and rustic coral takes the place of flowers.

Curtain

You can almost hear the crashing waves…

I love how you have put this together and the shell dishes for salt/pepper are great! I’ll have to save this inspiration for future parties.
