The Mad Hatter

Maybe it’s because I’m currently in London, where ‘tea time’ is still the norm (or maybe it’s just because I’m a girl who adores a hot cup of tea), but I couldn’t resist featuring this magical Mad Hatter Tea Party hosted by the imaginative team at A Fanciful Twist.  This storybook party infused so many whimsical details, from a “wish ticket” box to a bunny-soldier-lined entrance path.  The creativity is endless!

The vintage-inspired invitations set the tone for a party straight out of Wonderland.

The buffet is piled high with all kinds of sweets, and festooned with toadstools & fairies.

A Mad Hatter party wouldn’t be complete without tea served in flowery china cups, topped with a splash of milk served from a vintage glass pitcher.

The Mad Hatter himself presides over the festivities with a sparkle in his eye… friendly creatures add a touch of magic to the table.

As day turns to dusk, golden lanterns glow against a “cotton candy” sky.
