A-Fete-For-Two, Mr. Boddington's Studio

My lovely letterpressed holiday cards from Mr. Boddington's Studio.

I’m officially ruining the surprise for my holiday card recipients this year, but I’m so giddy with excitement about these pieces of paper perfection that I just had to share. A & I didn’t want to do a photo for the first card from “us”…we figured everyone had seen enough of our wedding pictures from June, and we’ve had enough narcissism for one year. But I love how these luscious cards from Mr. Boddington’s Studio give a nod to our new domestic bliss with a charming pair of vintage silhouettes. And while I’m on the subject, this New York City-based stationery designer just happens to be my favorite EVER, so this year’s pick was truly a no-brainer. A few of their other holiday jewels:

Cheers-to-Your-New-Years, Mr. Boddington's Studio

I love the unexpected gesture of sending a New Years Card. Doesn’t the designer, Rebecca, have a flair for striking the perfect sense of whimsy in the copy? And the envelope liners are such a pretty surprise.

Twenty-Ten, Mr. Boddington's Studio

Random question: are you planning on calling it “two-thousand-ten,” or “twenty-ten”? I think I’m going with the latter, but I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Okay, you caught me: I threw this last one in as a “wink-wink-nudge-nudge” to anyone who is still searching for that perfect, luxe gift for me (anyone?) – I’m dying for a chic set with my new last name!

You must check out the Mr. Boddington’s Studio website for much more eye candy. Don’t even get me started on their perfect suites of wedding invitations & save-the-dates… those will have to wait for their own drool-worthy post!

I love the personal stationery, especially the lined envelopes. I am always in need of more!

I’ve already been calling next year “twenty-ten” …so quick and easy.

LOVE your cards! So sweet! Don’t knock people who are doing narcissistic photo cards from their wedding! I promise this is the last one! Ha! And yes twenty-ten it is. The rest is a mouthful! Hope you are well!
